Quite a while ago, a certain judge somewhere in the USA decided that it would be cool to make a whole lot of money off the backs of the common people by participating in America’s #2 past-time; filing trivial lawsuits. You may recall that this judge did indeed file such a lawsuit. He demanded 54 million dollars (the original number 67 million) from a Korean family that managed a dry-cleaner for losing his pants. The astronmically high and utterly disproportionate number was manufactured with some giant leap of logic and a whole lot of malice. To be clear; there was no reason whatsoever for him to claim any more than the original price of the trousers.

Fortunately, the judge, whose purpose it is to make sure the law is handled correctly lost the case. Unfortunately for lady Justice, the Korean family was forced to shut down the business anyway due to the case.

But the story takes another turn! Roy Pearson, our esteemed judge, appears to have lost his job as well! And although this pleases me greatly in the same way that it pleases a small child to see a bully drop his ice cream cone, it does not remove Roy Pearson from the Grand List of People who should be shot in the back of the Head, like, right NOW!
