Today, after I finished reading the news article about the turkish hostages that escaped (and almost crapping my pants from laughing, I mean come on they were so busy letting the women and children out the front door they forgot all about the men and the backdoor, and we all know how much men love to use a backdoor!) the page refreshed itself and another article caught my attention: A woman who was driving a scooter, drove against a tailgate and was killed instantly. Immediately thoughts rushed through my mind: Blind? Drunk? Handicapped? Broken brakes? Playing truth or dare? As I started reading the article I came to an awful conclusion.
The woman wasn’t blind, nor was she drunk or handicapped. She wasn’t playing truth or dare and her brakes were fine. Now at this point I’m going to show you a picture of the tailgate in particular:
YES, THAT’S RIGHT, SHE DIDN’T SEE THE FRIGGIN THING. Ok I admit, its a little bit blurry in the picture but it’s in low resolution.
I bet you’ve all seen something like this before (and I also bet you’ve all thought about how horrible it must be to drive against it with a bike/motorcycle/scooter). Anyway here comes the good part. They gave
the truckdriver a warrant! THEY GAVE THE TRUCKDRIVER A FUCKING WARRANT! Imagine you are the truckdriver, just minding your own bussines. Suddenly you hear a scooter coming your way while you are closing the tailgate with an haudralic mechanisme that makes a BEEPING NOISE. The scooter comes closer, and closer and you’re thinking: Nah, no way, that can’t be.. no one is that.. BANG!! Well I guess someone is, and against all odds, that someone is on the
same time on the same road as you. Not only is the truckdriver very unlucky, I bet he also got a good look on how she crashed into the tailgate. And I bet that wasn’t a pleasant one. Oh and hes stuck with the fact that he was involved in an accident that killed someone. And on top of all that, he got a warrant.
And you think you have it bad with your bad-hair-day!
