Somewhere in the Netherlands seven (!) minors were acquitted from raping a 13-year old girl together. The judge did not deem it proven that the sex was against the girls will. Five boys are still persecuted for having sex with a minor. Note: I cannot site a digital source because I got this from an actual newspaper.
There is so much wrong with this I don’t know where to begin. First of all, it is definitely a good thing five boys are still to be punished. The bad thing is that this ‘punishment’, knowing the Dutch justice system, probably consists of writing an essay on sex (not kidding) or cleaning the streets for 20 hours. More disturbing is the fact that two boys will not be persecuted. Personally I do not understand why. Did I miss something? Do they have some redeeming feature that did not make it to the papers (probably money)? The only reason I can understand this is if they were closer to the girl’s age than the rest. And even then, a seven-fold gangbang should raise some flags
Then comes the rape charge. Dropped due to lack of evidence. Now the claim of rape is always a tricky one, it is immensely hard to prove sex without consent took place. I understand this. What I do not understand is that the judge seems to forget a significant part of the law; the age of consent in the Netherlands is 16. Therefore, the sex with a 13-year old girl is rape by definition, whether the judge agrees or not, they are not above the law.
Personally, I think it is of utmost importance to make an example of these misfits. First, a bullet through the head of the judge for participating in the moral decay of society. Second, seven bullets through the heads of the culprits. Even though the sex could have been quite well consensual and the girl was merely ashamed (as she should be), they should have had the moral sense not to fuck such a minor WITH SEVEN OF THEM.
These degenerates of the world may better pray I never get elected into office.
